Battery level detection

Even though I enable the options to deactivate Aero and Sidebar only if the battery level falls below 30%, Vista Battery Saver disables both if I unplug the power supply from my laptop. I have a Sony FZ190 with Vista Ultimate.

Also, the disable notification messages option appears to have no effect. I get the Windows Vista message that the color scheme has been changed to Vista basic, when I unplug the power supply.

Just noticed that Vista Battery Saver does turn both Aero and Sidebar off when I disconnect the power supply, however if I wait a while it does turn them back on after about 25 seconds.
